Particle Size Comparison

PARTICLE SIZE COMPARISON

Particle size is usually measured using a series of meshes or sieves of known dimensions. The values on the table represent the dimensions of the mesh openings and are an indication of the particle sizes that each can filter. The actual particle sizes passing through a sieve depend on factors such as surface roughness and morphology; therefore, the results obtained from a sieve may differ from other particle sizing methods.
